Live-In Care

In some circumstances, individuals with physical or cognitive challenges can continue to enjoy life in the comfort of their own homes, avoiding the disruption and inconvenience that typically accompany a change in living arrangements. A client may wish to have a caregiver in the home with them at all times.

SeniorSelect offers care and support in the home day and night, providing complete coverage so you or your loved one need never be left alone. Our unique 24-hour live-in services include:

Continuous service, preventing gaps in coverage
24-hour live-in caregivers
- Live-in caregivers must be provided with their own room and a bed, and will be expected to sleep during part of the 24-hour shift.
- For a typical live-in situation, two caregivers will often share a one-week cycle (ex: one caregiver may work Mon-Thur, and a second caregiver works Fri-Sun)
The caregiver level (i.e., companion, home health aide) will be determined based on your needs during the 24-hour period

*Note: Not all cases are appropriate for live-in care, because the caregiver is expected to have some time to sleep during the 24-hour period. One such example may be a client with Alzheimer’s who has Sun-Downer’s and is awake for extended periods of time. Call our office to discuss your needs.
