Wound & Ostomy Care

Our skilled nurses can provide wound and/or ostomy care designed to improve the healing potential of the remaining healthy tissue surrounding a wound and to nurse our patients back to health to the fullest extent possible.

Wound Care:

Treat, observe, and monitor accidental wounds or surgical incisions
Selection/application of appropriate dressing
Debridement (removal of dead tissue surrounding a wound)
Teaching nutrition

Ostomy Care:

Care of new stoma, dressing, monitor and document
Skin care
Teaching ostomy care
Irrigation
Diet for new colostomy patient
